Julia Fox's Not-So-Basic Black Leggings Featured a Heart-Shaped Butt Cutout

By all accounts, Julia Fox's latest look was uncharacteristically normal in comparison to her typical chaotic 'fits — that is, until she turned around.

On Thursday, the Uncut Gems actress stepped out for a fashion event hosted by the footwear brand Sorel in New York City while wearing what appeared to be a simple outfit from the front: a black bra top with billowing off-the-shoulder sleeves and a basic pair of black leggings. But from behind, it soon became clear that her bottoms were not so basic after all. In the back, Fox's pants featured a heart-shaped butt cutout with lace detailing that showed off her bare bum, as well as a matching black thong underneath. She accessorized with a black handbag and black lace-up boots with a chunky heel. 

Her long, auburn hair was worn down in cascading waves with a deep side part, and she teamed her smoky eye makeup with dark pink lip gloss. 

Earlier in the day, Fox was spotted on the streets following an appearance on the Sherri Show with another outfit that drew attention to her bottom half. Sporting a white ruffled crop top with sheer white opera gloves, she wore a pair of white underwear on the outside of her low-rise pants, creating a cutout-like effect on the sides and from the back. Julia finished off her over-the-top look with a heart-shaped bag and white platform Mary Jane heels that featured multiple silver buckles across her feet.
