anonymous Oct 26th 2020 !⃝I think this song is very sad. It’s about equality, it’s about the society we live in. But, also, it’s about a mother being told by a doctor she has only five minutes to live after having given birth to a baby. She was told the baby would be fine, though.
So, she talks to the baby. She tells it to ‘Stop your crying, baby, it’ll be alright’ and ‘We can meet again somewhere, somewhere far away from here’ (in heaven or the afterlife, wherever we go after we die)
She tells the baby that ‘They told me that the end is near’ (the doctors telling her she only has five minutes to live)
I always think about life when I listen to this song. You didn’t need to know about that, sorry. XD
